This issue involves MS Outlook 14.3.5 connected to an Exchange server.  Following the rebuilding of the Outlook email database, when we uncheck Subscribed Public Folders, close and reopen Outlook, the Public Folders are always again checked.  Thank you for your help.  Please let me know if you need more info.
