I use MM to create training videos for work. Today the IT department finally upgraded MM on my computer from 2010 to 2012 Build 16.4.3528.0331. After the upgrade I began to edit a new video and I noticed a major problem. When i transition from a .jpg to a .mov clip there is a strange 'punching' noise (and yes it sounds like someone punching a cardboard box) in the audio that was not on the recording that I imported into MM. This sound only occurs when going from a .jpg to a .mov and nowhere else. I did a test and exported what I had edited at that point and the strange sound was still there when I played the MP4 export.  I am using Windows 7 64-bit laptop. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
