Many months ago I was having a MAJOR spam mail problem. I could not just use basic filters as name and address of the spam would change very often. I would get hundreds in a day. THe solution I came to was to use advanced filters and block all mail except what I put in my allowed list. This worked great up to last week when I started getting spam again. The filter is still set to "Exclusive" but the spam is getting through. When looking at the header of the spam it says "From: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** on behalf of SPAM NAME (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) This sender is in your contact list"
Again, the names and addresses change in each spam and I have scoured my contact list, the addresses are not in there. This is grown beyond frustrating, please help. I should note that I am a windows phone user and the address is on my phone. I do have a alias that I can use. Should I set the alias as my primary and delete the address getting the spam would that cause problems for my phone and live ID?
