I already had this problem a few years back and it was solved by downloading photo gallery 2012. I have been using the program for sorting my photos happily ever since then.

But now they did it again: My usual sort order is "Group by date" and "Sort by date", When I rename a picture and press Enter, it is immediately taken out of view and the next picture is shown. So if I want to make additional changes, i.e. add comments, I have to close the unwanted picture, press F5 to restore sort order (the renamend picture seems to be moved to the end of the list) and open the other picture again.

As I do a lot of photographs this adds up to a lot of additional time.

So, please: Whatever you may have changed during one of the latest updates (I'm on Windows 8.1): Please check this feature and restore previsous functionality . or make it an option.

Or: Does anybody know of some workaround? Thanks in advance.
