Hello, 

I was working on a movie maker file for my friend's wedding this month and saved it regularly. It crashed annoyingly and I now receive the message below anytime I go to open it:

"sorry movie maker cant open this project file. The file might be incompatible with Movie Maker or corrupted. please select a different file. 

I've been looking for help to restore this but the previous support offered with this issue where I could have been able to send a private request, has seemed to have closed after 10/01/17, which is really unfortunate! (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/18614/windows-essentials)

Had I not spent hours working on this I would have started again. I also tried to use the coding solutions through notepad, but did not notice an empty Effects section as the response suggests. (But quite possible that I haven't done this correctly). 

Would be extremely grateful for any help to restore this. I've also tried the advice to right click on the file and open a previous version, but the 'previous file' option doesn't work for me. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ajta-Fdx29Yzi1JETH24ID6Fwr7K - The file is uploaded at my skydrive.
