I can't see how to reply to you.    I did all you said, and at the last step, the screen said:   chkdsk cannot renew because volume is in use by another process.  Would you like volume checked the next time the system restarts?   So I restarted the computer, but it didn't change the language.  The second time I did it, I ended up with c:> blinking on the screen.    What do I do now?   (Please....)
