I switched to Windows 8.1 Pro a few days ago (procured Windows 8.1 through DreamSpark).

I was really loving the SkyDrive integration until I noticed it is quite buggy. Before I describe my problem, I want to mention that I have made the entire SkyDrive folder offline (that's about 14GB). It is still downloading the content as I type.

So, the problem is this. The sync is just buggy. I add a new file to SkyDrive. It will upload after I restart the system. If I change a file online in Word Web App, it won't reflect in File Explorer. But, if I open the same file in Word 2013 by choosing to open from my SkyDrive, it reflects the changes.

This is extremely buggy and counter-intuitive considering the fact that this is Windows 8.1 Pro RTM and not the Preview version. I really hope such issues are fixed soon.

I must add that I used SkyDrive on Windows 8 and it worked perfectly there without issues. I don't want to downgrade to Windows 8 because of this as I am really enjoying the other good features of Windows 8.1.

Please look into this, else I am thinking of shifting to Google Drive/Dropbox.
