A while back I got this email message:

We're having a problem with SkyDrive that is affecting your file performance, and we're trying to fix it. To minimize any impact to you, we're keeping your files in a read-only state while we work on the problem. We'll let you know when we've fixed this, and appreciate your patience.

I never got a follow up, and the read-only mode still seems to be in place (it has been almost two months now since I received this message). I can't upload via Windows Phone 8 or the Desktop app. When I try upload via the web interface (e.g. create a new document), it just says:

SkyDrive is undergoing some routine maintenance and should be back up shortly. Please try again.

Obviously this has been going on for months now. I pay for a 100 GB subscription, but I am reluctant to be charged for this period. Would any Microsoft rep please help me restore SkyDrive functionality, as well as refund any charges for this period?
