Is there any published information on the limitations of shared files when using SkyDrive?
In all below examples, I tried the option of making the uploaded files available to others without requiring login.

  • I was able to upload a file of  150 MB (a pdf file) and made it available to others for download; it did work without having to login.
    So this was OK.

  • I was able to upload a file of 1500 MB (a FLV file; not Copyrighted material) as above, but this time login is required.
    Why?

  • I split (using 7z compression tool) and uploaded a 400 MB file (also FLV) into 4 files; the first of these files required login, while the other 3 files could have been downloaded without login.
    Why?

  • I also created a large encrypted zip file (700MB) containing a project (source+executable+pictures..) and have it uploaded. It did require login.
    Why?

I do not understand what the rules of share without requesting login are.
Can anybody make these clear? Is there a document that I can read?
I feel that without knowing the rules this SkyDrive is pretty much unusable, at least as far as I am concerned.

Many thanks in advance.
