I have skydrive on a pc and a surface tablet.  I have uninstalled skydrive several times on both and cannot get the notification icon to show up.  I done all the things I've seen on the forum to no avail.  I have windows 8.1 but had the problem before I installed the eval update from 8.  I want to be able to access the pc files in particular but can't get a connection without the icon.  Any help is appreciated.
