Since September I continue to reach dead ends.  Forgetting all the past problems I seem to go in circles.  With 8.0 Skydrive would update <50% of the time although the sync icon was "greyed" indicating all was fine.  After downloading 8.1, the icon is no longer in the taskbar and the tile doesn't open. 

Two or 3 times I've been told that I have to switch to a Microsoft Account.  When I attempt to do that after I click on switch I get a message indicating that the e-Mail address is on another account (or something like that).  It is on my local account but I was told that that wasn't a problem as I was switching to a Microsoft Account.  I am the only user of this P.C.

Bottom line, the only way I can use Skydrive successfully is that every time I change a file I do a copy to (replace-yes) in Skydrive.
