Since upgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 skydrive sync is not working on my Windows 8.1 machine anymore. I have 2 PCs, one with Window 7 and one with windows 8. I use the windows 7 machine and skydrive to upload a file. In windows 8, I used the skydrive desktop app to see that the file was downloaded again so I could access it there as well. Since upgrading to 8.1 I don't have the desktop app anymore but I understand that it is replaced by the metro app. When I tried to access the file in write mode I got a permission denied. When looking with file explorer I saw that the file still had the old date. The skydrive metro app showed me pending downloading for that file. This stays in that way forever. Using the skydrive web app to look at the file I saw that it had the new date/time there. Manually downloading it via the skydrive webapp also gives the right file on my machine.

After this experience I removed the file complete from skydrive and both machines then I added it back via my windows 7 machine. My Windows 8.1 is again hanging in downloading. 

Help to get this working again is appreciated.
