My files from my Mac are sporadically updated automatically to Skydrive.  It can be days after changes have been made to files on my Mac and it still does not show up on Skydrive even though the Skydrive status (click on icon in the Finder tray) says that Skydrive was updated minutes ago.  I have to shut down the app and restart manually for changes to be uploaded.  What is the solution to this lack of automatic updating?
