I have a to do list in excel that I update on my phone throughout the day, and want it updated when I get back home on my computer. However, it seems the file on the desktop has to closed before I can make edits on my phone. If I don't close the desktop file, Skyrdrive on my phone saves it as a different copy of the file on the phone itself.

What I basically want it when I save excel throughout the day on my phone, my computer file should be updated simultaneously even if its open. If this is not possible, could anyone suggest a better way of maintaining a to-do list (and a calorie calculator in excel) that can be updated throughout the day and also have the same version of the file when I get back home. I thought this was supposed to be easy.
