since I performed the free online upgrade from 8.1 to 10, ms photo gallery and ms movie maker show a dll error (MSVCR110.dll) and will not open. I tried the c++ redistribute download via the pop-up advice via this page. However in the system requirements for that fix it does not mention windows 10
