When I click on the "Help me choose" link when sharing a file in my SkyDrive, the help tells me for the PUBLIC option:

Public
A public link is like a View only link, but it also allows anyone to find your file or folder by searching. If you choose this option, people will be able to access the file or folder even if you don't publish the link you get.

Some of the answers in this forum seem to contradict this, stating that you cannot locate such publicly shared content via a Bing search, for example.

Is the Help incorrect?  If not, what does it mean "by searching" - searching how/where?
