Since the change over from hotmail to outlook I'm having increasing problems with outlook not functioning as it should (i.e. in a useable way).  Removing linked accounts is a major step backwards in terms of features, but the bottom line is outlook is just not performing as an email provider.

It is constantly slow or crashing, it often fails to let me select a folder to view or open emails, and if I try to scroll up and down through emails it crashes and gives me an error reading.  Today it won't open attachments, or takes 5 minutes to open a simple pdf (and it's not a connection issue as the two other windows I had open were running just fine).  I've supplied this information via the feedback function in my account (as it directs me to for issues) and yet I keep encountering more problems instead of things being fixed.  I'vIt is not a funcvtioning email system.e been directed to this site by outlook's facebook page.

I am encountering these issues through my home laptop (firefox), my work pc (internet explorer), and my smartphone (samsung default browser).

The change to outlook has been appalling.  Bring back hotmail, it worked!  Outlook does not.
When I click on the link "View Details" in the email I get this message on the web page, "Calendar error
The calendar you requested could not be found. Please make sure you are logged in to the correct account and have not deleted the calendar."

When I click on the link "Stop Getting Notifications", I get "
Outlook Calendar has new and improved reminders
We've listened to your feedback and know you'd like better reminders with more flexibility. So, now you can:
  • Set up multiple reminders for each event and send them to your email address.
  • Set up different reminders for each one of your calendars. New events that you create on each calendar will get those reminders by default. (Don't worry, you can still set different reminders for individual events.)
  • Get notified when someone updates an event or task on a shared calendar.
To get started, click Start using new reminders, then set them up the way you want them. Once you've clicked it, we'll also save any changes you've made on this page. Note: In the next few months, all Calendar users will automatically start using new reminders. So, once you click Start using new reminders, you can't go back to the old reminders."

I think that Microsoft has a back up somewhere from an old calendar and the sync didn't happen when I deleted that calendar.

How do I stop reminders?

My old hotmail account was linked to my new outlook account until recently when the linked feature was disabled by MS.  Now I can't get into my old hotmail account because I forgot the old hotmail password (I never needed it because the accounts were linked and I could get to it from new new email).  I've tried all the options under how to reset my password for my old account and they have all failed.  How am I suppose to regain access to  my old hotmail?  There are important emails in there I need to have.

Previous post suggests that the e-mail service is outlook.com

Sir make Skydrive to open zip or rar file because due to slow connection we are not able to download large zip file everywhere.
So we got problem to access the zip file.
And zip file reduces our storage mb so it is easy to upload but not accessible everywhere.

So this is the major deffect of microsoft skyrive.

So please solve this problem and make skydrive to open every kind of documents online.

Thank you.

Original Title: Windows Live Mail: How do you SEND separate from RECEIVE

Our Email Address is ***.  We have had it for many years.  We use it as a business list for The Recovery Group.  (www.therecoverygroup.org).   Something bizarre is happening that has never happened before.  As TRGAdm, I am the only person who has access to this mailbox.  Yet, each post is sent to a member who has nothing to do with this mailbox.  Not only that, mailboxes receive; they do not send.  So how is she getting copies of the Emails???   I feel terrible that her mailbox is inundated with mail from ***.  I hope you can help because we've been working on this for months.  I was going to copy and paste a dialogue and a sample of one of the posts but there is not enough room in this feedback form to do that.  If you will send me an Email address, I can send you copies of some of the mail.  We would like very much to have a solution to this.  I'm fairly technical and have done everything I know to do.

Thank you.

Note: Removed email address for security reason.

When I am using windows live I am receiving all my emails OK but I cannot open News feed emails being sent to me.

A message tells me a problem has occurred.

Am I missing a setting or something?
