A few days ago, I migrated from Gmail to Outlook.com. I imported about 2GB of old emails from my Gmail account. Since I did that, search is not working anymore. Every time I try to search, I get this message:

"Un problème est survenu. Réessayez ou actualisez la page.  Si ce message continue de s’afficher, allez à État du service pour vérifier si Outlook connaît un problème. "

(translation: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again, or refresh the page.  If you keep seeing this message, go to Service status to check if there's a problem with Outlook.")

Of course, service status reports no problem with Outlook.

If I try to search again without reloading the page, I get the "loading" animation for a few seconds, and then nothing (not even the error message).

I tried with different browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox), on different computers, from different networks (at work, at home...), and I always get the same behavior. I can't search my Outlook.com account from my phone either (WP8, Lumia 920), I get an error saying that it can't connect (which is not true, since I can sync without issue); I can only search in the messages that are stored on the phone, not the ones on the server.

Since I have the same problem from a variety of clients, the problem is probably on the server side. This page from September claims that the problem is solved, but clearly it's not. From what I saw on the forum, many people are still having this problem.

Outlook.com is great, but if I can't search my mail at all, it's just not usable. Please fix this, I don't want to go back to Gmail :(
