rule for sent items does not appear in list

I set up a rule in Outlook 2011 to send Sent Items over 180 days old to the Sent Items folder On My Computer. But the rule does not appear in the dropdown list of rules when I want to apply it.

I created the rule in the Outgoing section, since my Exchange Server is not managed by Exchange 2012 SP 1 or later. 

How do I run the rule on my existing Sent Items?
