My Outlook 2011 had its six monthly flip out this morning.
I followed some of the tips, tested the identity, moved the preferences around, restored Outlook itself from Time Machine and eventually did so much damage I couldn't even open the disk utility.
I reinstalled Office, Outlook opened but was reverting to an identity from 2013 (missing calendar and contacts). I used Time Machine to 'restore' the main identity from the last backup (Monday 18 May). However this Main Identity appears to be from a rebuild in January 2015, the main inbox functions as is imap but the calendar and contacts only run up to the January rebuild date.
I thought Time Machine would make it easy to deal with this kind of problem and I would happily turn the clock back on my whole system to Mon 18th (something IT used to be able to do in my old job). Am I doing it right?
If I've rebuilt my main identity as much as is possible how can i retrieve and install my up-to-date calendar, contacts, signatures, etc?
Thanks
