I'm making an attempt to move 16 mailboxes and 25 email accounts from Outlook 2013 PC to Outlook 2011 Mac.
On my PC I have some mailboxes (PST) that have several email addresses forwarded into a single box.
For example:
The website is ABC.com. I have *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, etc, etc. All of these email addresses are forwarders to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
On my PC Outlook I can create an account for *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Then I can create multiple "reply" accounts for each address *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, etc. I shut off check email on these accounts and only use them to send email from a specific email
address with a signature.
What should noted is that on the PC when you create a new account the question is asked whether you want to create a new PST or use an existing one. If you choose and existing one you are promoted to choose the PST file you want the email delivered to.
The issue
On the Mac Outlook if I create a new account there is no choice to pick if you want to use and existing accounts mailbox or create a new one. Thus if I create an account for help@, sales@, and info@ I am stuck with (3) new mailbox files instead of having all
the email combined.
Can anyone explain to me how I can have different reply profiles or reply accounts for one IMAP account? (When I say reply profile, I'm talking about different send from email address, reply to address, and email signature)
Thank you!
