Basically since the new terms and conditions have been changed recently, I will need to accept the new changes via xbox live on my xbox 360. It then takes me to the parent account info and that I have to type the password for that parent account to continue.
The parent doesn't live here anymore so I don't know the password, I used to until it was changed. It's been a long time since I've been asked to use it so suddenly it's now asking for this information.
I cannot recover this account because I don't know any of the information (e.g - security answers) so obviously I cannot log into it.
It is still my account and I've had this for 7 years, so I was 13 at the time when I first created it so it wanted a parent account. I know that I can remove this on my xbox through the account setting but I cannot do that either because I cannot log into
it any further because of the terms and conditions,
Is there any way of removing this parent account at all so I can log into the xbox live account and accept the terms and conditions with my own address to log in? I can prove that it is my account by supplying my own details lie debit card details, my
email address that's linked to it and anything else that may be needed? Because I'm practically wasting money into something I cannot use because the xbox live gold is still being charged.
I've contacted the xbox support about this problem and they've taken me to this website. I'm not sure which category this is supposed to be on so I've put it onto "Outlook.com, Skydrive."
Thank you for your help,
Louise
