Recovering old hotmail emails.

I am near tears because ALL of my important emails and files have been DELETED from being upgraded to the outlook system. I am so upset by this and have searched far and wide to find a way to recover my emails because I absolutely need all the information and files that was in them.

When browsing I finally found an answer to the question on how to change back to the old hotmail, and it said you can't anymore, followed by this statement. "Your Hotmail address and password, saved emails, contacts, calendars, and rules were automatically moved to your newOutlook.com inbox. "

However, none of my emails were automatically moved to my new inbox, and I mean NONE. Is there any way to get staff to recover my emails or something? Because this is unacceptable.
