I have just tried logging into my Hotmail account for the first time since the transition to Outlook.com, and my inbox is entirely empty. I infrequently access this account, so suspect the account may have been marked as inactive, but was looking for some old information and sentimental emails. 

Could a Microsoft team member please help me determine why my emails are missing, and if they can be recovered?
