Just got "upgraded" to 8.1 the other day, and weird stuff is happening.  Earlier today I closed out of Windows Live Mail and that dialog box popped up as Mail was closing that said disk space was being recovered.  It just flashed and was gone as Mail was closing.  Never did that before.  Usually pops up a few seconds after Mail closes.

When I went to open Windows Live Mail later today, the recovering disk box popped open first, and then when Mail opened it acted like it was receiving email, but it was all email I had already received and was saving in my In Box.  And it was all highlighted as unread!  I opened them all again, so they were not highlighted.  I thought that was the end of it.

A few minutes ago I went into Mail again, and decided to move one of the emails into a folder.  I had to create a new one.  When I was done, and looked over in the side bar to the left side, under Storage Folders there were a new group of folders for In Box, Deleted, and etc, just like up above!  Like a repeat of the area you usually work with new emails in.

Then there was a category called Recovered items, and when I clicked on the arrow it opened another sub-category named 05-04-2015  20-00-09, and when I clicked on that there was a sub-category called Storage Folders, and when I clicked on the arrow in that one it had all my old folders!  Some of them had the names I'd given them altered with letters and numbers after the name.

I'd like to be able to get rid of that new Storage Folder sub-category, and numbered sub-category, and the Recovered items category, and put all my old folders back under the main Storage Folders category.  Like it was before.  And I'd like to know what the heck happened, so I can keep it from happening again.  I think this may be another glitch having something to do with going to 8.1.

Thanks for any help I can get.
