Because of problems with Windows 10 I lost my Windows Live Mail 2012 and had to download the programme again from Microsoft.  Whilst it has populated my contacts calendar etc., I appear to have lost my storage files and the contents thereof.

Is there anyway I can find the contents of my previous storage folders or are they truly lost?
