Yesterday I noticed that almost all of the emails in my deleted folder are missing.  I accessed this folder to forward messages as recently as 2 days ago (August 12), but when I went to look for a message there yesterday, everything before August 6th is gone.  I have looked at the other answers provided on this forum for similar issues, but none of the fixes seem to apply to my problem.  There is no "recover deleted messages" option for me, and there is no gear next to a user name where I can adjust the settings to recover deleted messages.  My outlook is not a former hotmail account - it is a straight outlook account on my MacBook Air that I use for work.  What can I do to recover these messages?
