I have recently changed the password on my hotmail account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) but I cannot now sign in with either my new password or my old password. I have requested a one-time sign-in code but nothing gets sent to me. I have tried to use the page which requires 'characters in the picture' to be entered but no characters appear - all I get is a completely incorrect message saying that I have tried too many times even when it is only my first attempt that day/week. I have also attempted to use the 'account recovery' page but when I click the 'next' button the screen freezes and won't move to the next page.

I have tried all of these things NUMEROUS times over several weeks, using several different/fresh browsers (no cache/cookies etc) and via a fresh/brand-new operating system and the outcome is always the same -ie. no access to my email account. I have no problem accessing my other hotmail account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) or any other email facility - it is just this one: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

It needs to be looked at and fixed by someone within the 'hotmail' office.

Perhaps someone at hotmail can manually restore the account and send to me a temporary password?

Alternatively, can someone perhaps delete the account completely and permanently so that I can create a new one with the same name?

Thanks
Dave
