I recently downloaded Windows 10. The resolution on my monitor (a common issue with 10) was poor and could not be resolved so I recovered back to Windows 7 Home Premium per instructions in Windows10. Had a number of issues as it ran continuous reboot for hours until the recovery worked. What got blown out of the water was my Windows Live 2012 email. I now have corrupted files and emails. Every time I open my email now (after closing it) I get a" Recovering the windows live mail data base" message.

After the initial switch back to Windows 7 all my e mails and those in stored folders, including file names (end of file names were dropped and replaced by numbers), were duplicated. One is the original email and the other states:

Message cannot be found

The contents of this message cannot be found.

Windows Live Mail

I also am unable to delete messages or e mail files. Most times I can delete one message or a few at a time (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't) but since after recovery I now have over 5 thousand messages in my deleted folder (one good original, one with the above message). Where they came from I don't know. When I try to delete in groups  I get a "Unknown error has occurred message" and nothing happens.

I've done the windows live mail repair a couple times with no improvement.

Any suggestions?
