I have created many videos with Windows movie maker and for the first time I ran the video's audio through a professional soundboard. The sound was limited and flat, to the point that the soundboard could not increase audio volume past a certain point, compared to the original audio for the video.

Is there a way to avoid the flattening of audio whenever you create a video?
