Original title: Windows Photo Gallery

Have use MS Digital Image Suite for year and was very satisfied with it. I don't need a lot of the junk included in today photo programs. Don't want the program to organize or import ever photo on my pc, don't want it to add tags, locations, size and dates. Just want something to edit, correct, resize, flip and other simple edits. I have read that Windows Photo Gallery is the appointed successor to something called Windows Live photo gallery and video something or other. Microsoft refuses to give a decent description of what Windows Photo Gallery actually does. Past experience with MS product have show MS doesn't give a D--- what the user wants, but rams tons of extra unwanted **** down the users throat.

What are the 'added value' programs forced on the Windows Photo Gallery users? And can  refuse to accept these?
