I have windows 7 and use Windows Live Mail 2011 for my emails. The window envelope comes up saying starting but it never opens.. If I leave it like that I will get an email notification saying new mail but cant access it..

I have tried searching for faults and doing virus scans. If I download the 2012 update will all my saved emails and folders be there??  I looked at the back up emails but it looks like I need to have windows mail open to do that.

I can go to my internet providers page..eg westnet and access my emails from there, but I need to access my saved mail folders.
