I have been attempting to assist a friend with her outlook.  Initially, she experienced difficulty with attachments.  When she attached a document to email, she received a window indicating IE was not working.  I googled the issue and the advice was to reset the IE - I did this and it went well.  But she cannot sign into her account.  She receives the error telling her the password or user name is incorrect.  We reset her password but to no avail.  She went to another machine and was able to access her account.  On her machine, she is the administrator and her husband is a user.  By switching users and using her husbands login, again she was able to access to outlook mail.  I checked the security using the other machine and it is identical.  Can someone out there please help me find a resolution to this issue.  Thanks Kindly
P.S.  the reset resolved the attachment issue
