Problem with MS Office 2011 for Mac, v10.5.0, as Outlook does not show the main screen.

I have just updated MS Office for Mac to 10.5.0 and now find that Outlook does not work.  The status bar at the top appears but the main window is not displayed.  I am using a Macbook Pro with Yosemite 10.10.3.  Any ideas?
