I'm trying to figure out why I cannot open just one folder of pictures and get the following message "Windows photo viewer can't open this picture because either photo viewer doesn't support this file format, or you don't have the latest updates to photo viewer".

  I have the latest updates and they are just pictures formatted in .jpg. I can't figure it out and looking for some help please?????
