Thank you for any help you can give me!

I have 2012 Windows Movie Maker. Created a project and tried to save as a movie (using recommended setting).  Looked good last I saw it (was 75% saved).  This morning could not find any saved movie (used search-- there just isn't one) and the project is now showing that every clip needs to be removed (yellow error and error 0x87160379) before trying to re-save.  Includes .mov and .avi clips.   Tried reinserting an original clip just to see what would happen-- it also showed same error.

at this point no usable movie nor usable project...

thoughts?
