I am running Windows 10 on Desktop PC.  I have a large group of photos taken about the same time that will not  open properly in the WLPG program.  Where the photo should be, it is just all white except for a small vertical stripe down the center.   I know it is not the photos because I can open them in Microsoft Office Picture Manager with no problem.  

The Windows Live Photo Gallery is great for organizing my photos, but the Microsoft Office Picture Manager is better at editing them.  I need to be able to open the pictures in both programs.  

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the problem?
