MY brand-new computer has Windows 7 - which I have always loved.

PC Mover even managed to migrate all of my Window Live Mail archives (79000).

However PHOTO GALLERY did not migrate and  I tried reinstalling Windows Essentials 2012 - partially at first,

then the entire ESSENTIALS 2012,

then I  "repaired" essentials in the PROGRAMS AND FEATURES.

then I uninstalled everything except LIVE MAIL,

then I reinstalled Essentials 2012.........

The very aggravating and puzzling problem persists: Photo Gallery stops working, but what stumps me as well: Photo Gallery tries to show ALL of my photos....aInd I have MANY.

I LOVE photo Gallery and find it far less complicated than other photo editing programs.

I have scanned all the other questions and answers on this subject.

Can you offer anything new?

I am sqeamish about deleting ALL of ESSENTIALS, including the huge mail archive in LIVE MAIL because I cannot afford to loose that.
