A simple Question- Will Windows Photo Gallery save its photos or (operate in anything other drive ( like an SD card)) except C:UsersGuildaPictures Library?  if it will save them some where else read on---

I have a new Tablet with windows 8.1. In order to have enough space for my photos without putting them on C: drive, I installed a 32gb SD card. the card is working fine. I set the Pictures library up to include the SD Drive (D:) (called PICTURES D:) I set the PICTURES (D:) as the default save location for Pictures Library.  That should be the repository for all Picture Library files, and it is.        The problem is when I load photos into Photo Gallery, from anywhere, Photo Gallery puts them in C:UsersGuildaPictures Library. .Is there a Parameter option to change this?                                  In an attempt correct this problem, in Photo Gallery I have set up the (import Photos and Videos), Dialog box ---(More options) / Import options (import To:)=C:UsersGuilda Pictures Library. It gives me one other  option  - C:SDPICTURES. The browse will not let me put in any other location.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  DA
