I have thousands of edited photos.  I had to do some updates to my comp at work today (scheduled by my employer). When I opened up a set of photos I wanted to edit, I noticed that only brightness, contrast, and color temp were being saved (in addition to cropping and red eye).  The shadows, highlights, and saturation settings are not being saved.  If I save the saturation, go to the next photo, and go right back, it's unsaved.  It doesn't matter which set of ALREADY EDITED photos I open from my external drive, all of these settings appear untouched.  I have saved and uploaded thousands of these, but now they seem to have partially reverted!! I have lost countless hours of editing.

Any help with this?  I am not getting any error messages.  Is it possible that somehow already edited pics on my hard drive have partially reverted??  I know it sounds crazy.
