I am moving from Picture Manager to Photo Gallery on Windows 7 due to a computer crash.  Is there a setting anywhere in the program to stop the program from importing a whole folder??  In the Picture manager I could open single pictures at a time in my Library or a Flash Drive.

Now I see I can't do that. I don't want all the Pics on my Hard drive. 

What did I miss or is there a simpler program closer to the old Picture Manager.
