I have been having trouble with photo gallery off and on for a couple of months now, and I am hoping I can find a solution once and for all.  Most of the time when I attempt to open photo gallery, it says it is loading and then it freezes and I am not even able to shut it down without shutting down the entire computer.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Essential and that generally works when I open it for the first time; however, the next time I attempt to get in the same problem occurs.  I have also restored libraries as I have read that has been suggested in many of the other problems on this site.  I would really appreciate some help with this problem.

Some additional information: We purchased this Dell laptop less than 6 months ago and photo gallery worked fine for the first few months.  We operate on Windows 8.1 and there doesn’t seem to be any issues with any of the other Windows Essential features.  Also, no error code comes up… the screen just reads loading and it freezes.
