My Photo Gallery says "Photo Gallery encountered an error loading WLXPhotoiewer.dll and can't start".. I have no idea what this means, why is happened after years of success or what to do. I have been sidetracked for many hours chasing down old hints that took me nowhere. Please tell me what I need to do. I have Windows 8 or 8.1.  Please answer in a way that a non-techy person can follow. Thank you.

I was simultaneously having problems with my Adobe Acrobat XI program. Everything just keeps "spinning".  Maybe it is connected somehow but nothing else seemed to be having any troubles.  Thanks, Anne
