I have tried 3 of your suggested fixes for the Photo Gallery error code of 0x8007000b and none have worked. 1. Repair all Windows Essential Programs, 2. Back up the Registry and 3. Restore default libraries. Each time, after doing the fixes, I restart my computer.

My Photo Gallery will open, but when I click on "Edit, organize, or share", I get the error code message. I first noticed it when we were on vacation a couple of weeks ago and was using our laptop under another network (could it be a sharing issue?). I had Windows 8 at that time (and getting the error message) and yesterday, I updated to Windows 8.1, thinking that might help, but it didn't.
