New computer.  Lenovo .  Came with Windows 10 installed.  (NOT an upgrade as other questions appear to be.)

Try to open Photo Gallery.

"Photo Gallery has stopped working"

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and and notify you if a solution is available."

Close Program


But doesn't tell me if Photo Gallery works or not, it comes listed in the All Programs drop-down.  

OK, what gives is Photo Gallery no longer supported

"Photos" appears to be overly simplified
