Can the photo details, such as, titles, descriptions, captions, date taken, etc. be used by other "standard" photo organizing software?  I previously scanned thousand of old photos including adding captions and details to many.  This was accomplished using a Corel product, which is now not supported.  although I can still use this program and see the information, if that program is ever corrupted, I will not be able to retrieve the details.

Before manually transferring this information to My pictures in Windows 8.1 and using Photo Gallery, I have concern over the same issue in the future.  Any suggestions would be most helpful.
