I am a virginmedia customer and used to have an old e-mail address that ended virgin.net. Because I no longer used that address Virgin discontinued it. Since Virgin have migrated their e-mail to google people sending me e-mails to my current address receive a failure to deliver notice in respect of the virgin.net e-mail address which no longer exists. Virgin have tried to replicate the problem but when they send me e-mails they do not get the failure notice.

Originally the virgin.net address related to outlook express and I migrated to windows live. I wonder if in my computer mail set up there is something which should be deleted. The addresses might have been synced but I cannot find anyway to find the address within my computer to delete.  Has anybody out there had a similar problem and if so how do I delete this now non-existent e-mail address so as to stop theses failure to deliver notices.
