I cannot get my original email account back, so I created an alias. My question is what would happen if I removed the original from the task master.  I constantly have  a window that pops up telling me to correct the issue.  Microsoft keeps telling me they don't have enough information from me to fix it.  This is a home computer where I rarely use the email.  I have attempted several times to resolve the issue to no avail, and I believe something happened due to an update, or possibly someone was trying to hack me.  They are suppose to protect us from this happening.  Any help would be appreciated as I am not tech savvy.

Thank You

This is HP Pavilion Desktop with Windows 7 Pro SP1.

The problem: When I start Windows Live Mail, it starts working online, but it does not check emails on startup. I have to click on 'Sync' menu item to receive my emails. If I do not click on "Sync", Windows Live will check email after 10 min, as it set in Options.

In Options/Connections it says that Windows Live Mail is sharing Connections Settings with IE.

I have Outlook 2003, IE 11, and Opera browsers installed, and I have .outlook.com as a secondary mail agent. Account settings are the same  on Windows Live Mail, Outlook 2003, and outlook.com.  There are no problems with Internet browsing, receiving the emails via outlook.com in any of browsers, or in Outlook 2003.

How to make Windows Live Mail check emails on startup? Should I change some settings of IE11 or Outlook 2003?

Split from this thread.

I have been following the conversation withKrisB8 and the problem with the Microsoft Outlook Calendar.  I have the same exact problem and it is frustrating that there is no alternative to get back the calendar that I have used for years.  I too have everything on that calendar to remind me through an email when bills are due, etc.  Everything that was suggested to KrisB8 - I also did but to no avail.  I can't specifically pinpoint when my problem started but I think it was when I went from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

"IF" I went back to Windows 7 (don't even know if that is possible now) would it bring up the old Outlook Calendar?

I have an office 365 account and wanted to upgrade the mail feature on my Windows 10 laptop to Outlook so I would have access to more features.  It would be nice to export the email I have now over to outlook.  How can I do that.  Online instructions tell me to access things I can't find on the email program in Windows 10.
