I just bough the MS file convert because I searched on how to convert a WLMP file and now it's saying that I cannot open it. But, I cannot get the program from MS - now what?

Hi, I am having trouble sending emails through windows live mail.
When attempting to send i get a box come up saying "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details." I then click on the errors, but there is no errors showing up at all.
Any ideas?
How do I stop getting all the E-bay delivery notices on my calendar?
I use E-bay a lot for pet supplies ect.
Problem is I also use this calendar to keep track of important Dates, such as Dr. appointments and other important info.
Sometimes the delivery notices crowd out the important dates.
How do I stop this?
