I have been using Thunderbird (v 52.9.1) to check my various e-mail accounts (outlook, gmail and Yahoo). All was going well until I decided to turn on 2-step authentication on my Microsoft account. This was not unexpected.
I have gone into account settings, entered my display name, e-ddress and password (generated using the password app from Microsoft). I have tried both IMAP and POP3 settings, but each time it attempts to verify my login, I get the error "Configuration could not be verified - username or password wrong?".
I posted this question on the Thunderbird forums and was asked if my Anti-Virus software had a password vault that could be interfering - it does not.
I have used this same app to configure my gmail account which uses a virtually identical process, as does my Yahoo account.
I have been able to use this process to configure my outlook mail on my iPhone.
Of course, speaking with Microsoft they blame Thunderbird...you know the story.
Does anybody have any ideas to solve this issue? Thank you for your time.

A long established contact in Germany is having their emails to me blocked. No problem with their other emails. The failure message they received says that their IP address has been found on industry IP blacklists (Spamhaus/Invaluement/ReturnPath)
I have been advised that my email provider (Windows Live Mail) is blocking their email provider and to advise our email providers that legitimate mail is being blocked.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
Whenever I try to find the files I want to use in Movie Maker, the files don't show up. My guess is that Movie Maker can't use the files that I made, but I don't know what kind of file it is, so I don't know what kind of file to convert from.
Thanks for your time!
